Sci-Fi writers....

The best one's know better then to throw in a bunch of wildly made up language and crazy names of entire families that have a lot of X, Ys and Zs in them, of people that the reader has no way of remembering from chapter to chapter to make themselves sound so futuristic or other-worldly.  Honestly ... just stop it, okay?
